Send booked calls to your other software with Zapier or a webhook.

HighLevel, the platform the Chleb CRM is built on, documents two ways to hand data to other software: its Zapier app, which Zapier lists as LeadConnector, and webhooks sent from a workflow. This guide covers what each one documents, walks through one realistic workflow that turns a booked appointment into a request in Jobber using only steps the vendors document, and says plainly what Chleb has not tested end to end.

Two documented routes out of the CRM

The Chleb CRM is a branded workspace built on HighLevel, as Chleb's own FAQ page says. HighLevel documents two ways to send its data to other software, and this guide describes both from HighLevel's and Zapier's own pages. It does not claim that Chleb runs a connector to any tool named here.

The first route is Zapier. HighLevel says that in Zapier you use the LeadConnector app, its official white-labeled connection: you sign in with your CRM login, choose the sub-account, and no API key is needed for that standard connection. Zapier's LeadConnector page lists one trigger, which fires instantly when an opportunity's pipeline stage changes, and five actions: adding or updating a contact, adding or updating an opportunity, adding a lead to a workflow, adding a task, and stopping all workflows for a lead.

The second route is a webhook. HighLevel workflows have a Webhook action that sends data to any address you give it, using POST by default. In the other direction, a workflow can start from an Inbound Webhook trigger that receives data from outside, which HighLevel lists as part of its premium triggers and actions.

What a webhook carries

HighLevel says every outbound webhook includes the contact's standard data: name, email, phone, address, tags, and the standard and custom fields on the contact. Anything else depends on the trigger that started the workflow.

That matters for bookings. HighLevel's article says that when the workflow starts from an appointment trigger, the payload also carries that appointment's details, such as the start time, the calendar ID and the appointment status. A workflow started by something unrelated, such as a tag being added, carries no appointment data at all. So a workflow meant to pass bookings on has to start from an appointment trigger.

HighLevel's testing advice is to run the workflow on a test contact with Test Workflow, then open the Execution Logs and confirm the Webhook step shows as Executed. It suggests a free webhook testing site as the destination while you look at the payload.

Which trigger fits a booked call

HighLevel documents two appointment triggers. Appointment Status starts a workflow when an appointment is scheduled or its status changes, and its New status filter means a new appointment was scheduled. It can also filter by calendar and by who made the change: the API, a customer, a user or another workflow. Customer Booked Appointment starts when a customer books through a booking link or online scheduling without help from your team, and HighLevel says it does not support recurring appointments.

HighLevel's pages do not say which of the two fires for an appointment the receptionist books on a call, or which who-made-the-change value that booking carries. That is exactly the kind of detail to confirm on the account during setup, before a workflow depends on it. Appointment Status filtered to New on the receptionist's calendar is the broader of the two, which is why the example below uses it.

Already using Jobber? Compare its native Receptionist first

If Jobber is already where your team manages customers and schedules work, start by comparing its own Receptionist with the custom workflow below. Jobber documents call and text answering, work requests, messages and visit booking using the data in your Jobber account. That could meet a Jobber-only requirement without adding HighLevel and Zapier. This is a comparison of published capabilities, not a Chleb test of Jobber's performance.

Jobber's help center says native booking uses your configured online booking services and team members. Rescheduling requires online booking to be enabled. Those actions are different from the custom example below, which creates a request and does not establish a scheduled job. Test the actual service address, availability and record your team will use before treating either route as a confirmed visit.

Jobber's pricing page lists Receptionist as a $29 monthly add-on as checked on October 9, 2026. That is not the total price of Jobber. Confirm the underlying subscription, eligible plan, billing commitment, phone requirements and any usage charges for your account. Jobber's website documentation distinguishes included website chat from phone and text features on supported plans or Plus. Compare the full required setup, not an add-on against a complete front-office package.

  • Need answering and booking only inside Jobber? Evaluate its native option against your own services, properties and schedule first.
  • Need a Chleb website, CRM or a workflow across other systems? List the channels and destination records you need, then scope the connection separately. This guide is not proof of a live Chleb connector.
  • Test who receives an escalation and what happens when they do not answer. Jobber's public demo excludes some features, including live transfer, so the demo alone cannot verify that handoff.

A worked example: a booked call becomes a Jobber request

Jobber is field service software whose Zapier triggers cover clients, requests, quotes, jobs and invoices. Jobber's own help article on Zapier lists a Create Request action, which creates a new request for the client's first property, and a Create Client action. Zapier's Jobber page also lists a Find or Create Client action. With HighLevel's documented webhook, those are the pieces this workflow needs on paper. It is not tested end to end by Chleb.

  • In the CRM, create a workflow that starts on Appointment Status, filtered to New and to the receptionist's booking calendar.
  • Add HighLevel's Webhook action and paste the address Zapier gives you in the next step.
  • In Zapier, start a Zap with Webhooks by Zapier and its Catch Hook trigger, which receives a POST and parses the data.
  • Add Jobber's Find or Create Client action, matched on the caller's phone number or email from the webhook.
  • Add Jobber's Create Request action for that client, and map the service, the appointment start time and the caller's notes into the request.
  • Run HighLevel's Test Workflow on a test contact with a test appointment, check the Execution Logs, then check that the request appears in Jobber before switching the Zap on.

A request is not a scheduled job

This example creates a request in Jobber. Copying an appointment time into that request does not establish that a job is scheduled or a technician is assigned. Before promising a confirmed visit, check the actual scheduling record your dispatcher uses.

Zapier's Jobber help page says Create Request uses the client's first property, even when that client has several properties. Matching a caller by phone or email does not confirm the service address. If the caller needs work at another property, stop for a person to review the address and the correct record before confirming anything. Putting another address in the notes does not change the request's linked property.

  • Test a client with two properties and a caller who needs the second address. Inspect the request's linked property, not just its notes.
  • Replay the same appointment event and check that it does not create a duplicate request before enabling the workflow.
  • Check a failed delivery to Jobber: the caller should not receive a false confirmation, and your team needs a visible record to review.

Plans, costs and limits to check first

The example uses three companies' plans. Zapier labels Webhooks by Zapier a premium app on its app page, its help center says premium apps need a paid Zapier plan or a free trial, and its article on webhook triggers lists them for the Professional, Team and Enterprise plans, not Free. So this example needs a paid Zapier plan, or a Zapier trial while you test it. Jobber's help article says its Zapier integration is available on select Jobber plans, that more complicated Zaps than one trigger and one action need an upgraded Zapier account, and that if the Jobber team member who connected Zapier is deactivated, the connection drops and must be reconnected.

On the HighLevel side, HighLevel says an inbound webhook needs its premium triggers and actions enabled, and that every automation needs a contact, so incoming data must create, update or find one. Whatever you send leaves the CRM, so send only the fields the other tool needs. Custom automation like this is scoped separately after a demo, not part of the published plan prices.

Verification

Checked on September 28, 2026 against: HighLevel's How to Connect a HighLevel Sub-Account to Zapier (last modified September 18, 2025), How to Use Webhooks in HighLevel (Zapier) (last modified December 15, 2023), Workflow Action, Webhook (Outbound) (last modified March 16, 2026), Workflow Trigger, Appointment Status and Workflow Trigger, Customer Booked Appointment (both last modified April 6, 2026) and Workflow Trigger, Inbound Webhook (last modified April 8, 2025); Zapier's LeadConnector, Webhooks by Zapier and Jobber app pages and its help articles on premium apps and webhook triggers; and Jobber's help article on its Zapier integration (last updated March 12, 2025).

The request action and first-property limitation were checked again on October 8, 2026 against Zapier's How to get started with Jobber on Zapier. The address, duplicate and failure checks above are acceptance checks to run, not reported test results.

Not tested end to end by Chleb: no workflow, webhook or Zap from this page was built or run, the exact field names in the payload were not captured, and which appointment trigger fires for a booking made on a call is unconfirmed. Chleb does not claim a live connector to Jobber, Zapier or any other tool named here. Named tools are confirmed on the integration check during setup.

Questions buyers ask

Does Chleb integrate with Jobber?

Chleb does not claim a live connector to Jobber. This page shows a documented path: a HighLevel webhook from the CRM, a Zapier Catch Hook, and Jobber's own Zapier actions. It has not been tested end to end by Chleb, and any build like it would be scoped and tested on your account first.

Do I need Zapier for this?

Not always. HighLevel's Webhook action can post to any tool that accepts webhooks directly. Zapier helps when the other tool does not accept webhooks, because it offers ready-made actions such as Jobber's Create Request.

Can data come into the CRM from my other software?

HighLevel documents an Inbound Webhook trigger for that, listed as part of its premium triggers and actions. It says every automation needs a contact, so incoming data has to create, update or find one.
